How do online sessions work?
Sessions run over video with a shared digital whiteboard. Your child sees everything Ed writes in real time, works through problems alongside him, and keeps the notes afterwards. All they need is a laptop or tablet and a quiet room.
What happens on the free 15-minute call?
It's a short conversation with Ed on Google Meet about your child's needs and whether Ed's Maths is the right fit, free and no obligation. If it's a good fit, Ed finds out exactly where the real gaps are, whether that's a short test, the first session itself, or a past paper review, then builds the programme from what he finds.
How much does tuition cost?
A-Level sessions are £80 with a tutor from Ed's team, trained in his one-to-one framework, or £100 with a qualified teacher from one of the UK's leading schools. Which fits best depends on your child's needs, and Ed will recommend honestly on your free call.
Which exam boards does Ed cover?
Edexcel, AQA and OCR. Every programme is built around your child's specific exam board and the papers they will actually sit, not a generic syllabus.
How does Ed track progress?
Ed monitors performance on practice papers and topic work every session, and shares an honest update with parents each term - what's improved, what still needs work, and what the plan is for the rest of the year.
Does Ed really teach every session himself?
Ed keeps the number of families he personally teaches deliberately small each term. Where his own diary is full, he introduces families to a tutor from his own team, each personally vetted by him - and the diagnostic, the programme, and the progress reviews always stay with Ed.
Do you only work with families in Surrey?
No. Sessions are online, so Ed works with families anywhere in the UK. Most of his students are at schools across Surrey, Kent and Berkshire, but distance is no barrier.
